This is the belt I made for Valerie, at her request. It's made of flannel that I fused with interfacing to give it some structure. I cut the fabric 2 1/2" wide, then sewed it into a tube right sides together. I sewed one end closed then used a chopstick to poke that end into the tube to turn it right side out. Then I ironed it again, sewed it shut and trimmed it, then used fusible velcro to make a closure. She was not impressed at first but she wore it all day today, so I think she's warming up to it :)
