Instead of going out of town for the long weekend, we decided to stay close to home. We got a room at the Hyatt in downtown Kansas City and went to the Jiggle Jam, Science City, and ConQuest 41 (a science fiction convention in the hotel this weekend). We also walked around downtown and saw some memorials and got to hear a rehearsal of a live orchestra that will be performing for Memorial Day. What a great weekend!
